Those who were able to talk to me during this spring semester knows that I complained a lot how difficult this past 4 months has been. If you were one of the lucky ones to “avoid” communicating with me, here is the gist of it… I took anatomy and physiology during the semester which people highly recommend not taking together because both classes are intensive. To keep my plan for the nursing program, I needed to do what I needed to do. My brain never felt so overwhelmed like it did. I stayed home a lot to study, especially for anatomy. A few of my friends made the comment in how I changed from my college days in Sacramento till now; in a nutshell, I did a 180 and limited my partying down.
Now the semester is over, it’s time to relax and reset the brain. I honestly felt empty the next day after my finals were over. Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely happy that I’m done with my classes, but as my fellow classmate stated, “Anatomy gave us a sense of purpose.” When I woke up last Thursday, the first question I asked myself, “Now what?” Then I asked, “How can I fill this void?”
Well we just have to let summer play out. This is my game plan… I want to find a job, but as everyone knows, the economy is down the sh** hole and it will be difficult to find employment. In the mean time, I’ll practice what I love to do, PHOTOGRAPHY! Last night I was able to attend my friend Pete’s show at a local coffee shop. I took a ton of pictures and I’ll post them up as soon as I can.
