Photo Bombing in the City

Last Sunday was one of the best days I had this year. My cousin from the Philippines is here for a short time, and I wanted to take her out. Like many of us in my family, she is really into photography, so her request for me was to go photo bombing in San Francisco. When I climbed into bed the night before, I turned on my TV to channel surf. On Comedy Central, one of my favorite movies was showing [Beerfest]. Before I knew it, I watched the entire movie and I noticed it was 2:30 in the morning. I set my alarm to wake me up at 4:30, so when the movie ended, I figured I should just stay awake.

I picked up my cousin at 6 AM so we can catch sunrise at the Golden Bridge. We just arrived on time, and hopefully she was able to take shots she will enjoy. We had 2 hours to kill before any businesses opened, so we decided to eat some breakfast at Lucky Chances. On the way to the Casino, I got pulled over because I didn’t see a stop sign. Even though it really sucks that I got a ticket, my cousin and I still laughed about it.

After breakfast, we picked some spots that are touristy. We went to Legion of Honor, Fisherman’s Warf, and Coit Tower. We definitely had a great time at the tower. When my cousin set up her camera on top of my car, a couple decided to stop right in front of the shot. What was extremely funny to both of us is that this couple could have stopped 2 feet left or right, and our picture would have turned out “perfect” but the question till this day is, “Why in front of us?” Well after all that laughing, we drew some attention to us.

Because of the attention we drew, a random guy came up to my cousin and I to ask us some questions. He claims he’s not from Earth, and wanted to understand what emotions humans feel, like love, hate, happiness, sadness, etc. I don’t believe he is an alien, but was doing a show because he was being videotaped and I signed a disclaimer after our conversation.

When I get a chance, I’ll post the pictures I took of last Sunday’s photo bombing. The pictures on this blog were provided by my cousin.
